Join award-wining Chef Tiw Rakarin as he guides you through an intimate evening of 6 courses of French inspired Southeast Asian dishes, whilst Justin Walters teaches you a thing or two about French wines. From Paris to Hanoi, Marseille to Vientiane and beyond, experience the impact five decades of French influence left on the cuisine of Indochina.
Chef Tiw’s approach to cooking is to harness the flavours of his childhood homeland and to reinvent them with the influences of his culinary experiences travelling abroad. He marries the perfect balance of French and Southeast Asian ingredients and techniques to create a truly unique dining experience. Each course has been paired with a wine from France’s finest wine growing regions such as; Alsace, Burgundy and Chablis.
This 6 course degustation is created by Chef Tiw with matching French wines professionally curated by Justin Walters of Cuttings Wine Merchants NSW. Each course and its inspirations will be described to you over the course of the evening.
